OK..Brooklyn King radio was "born" in 2001
The format was myself and my friend SHA..or "TYR and SHA" respectively. The same two characters names from the series i created called "Galaxy Remix Volume 1"
as the years went on we added one more member named "NiKKI" just so we could have a female perspective.
BK radio was meant to be HIGH ENERGY, CRAZY, and spontaneous.
whether it was funny or not is subjective..but WE fuckin laughed and that's all we cared about.
Brooklyn King radio Predates "The breakfast Club" with the two guys and a woman format.
at the time, there was "SHOUTCAST RADIO" via winamp, as well as a few podcasting stations.
but to be clear, podcasting was in its infancy..and BK radio was there.
With that being said, the subjects we tackled were what was news at the time and as such. language was different. we wanted to be able to speak as freely as possible and we did. we weren't trying to be shocking or provocative..we were just being two guys from the neighborhood making each other laugh about all of the SHIT going on in the world.
PLUS we loved hip hop and house music..which always played in the background.
We were a crazy trio and it showed.

if you're a part of the LGBTQ, the "F" word is used. again, it was a different time. its language i doubt we would use today. We were younger guys back then.
SO, since no one is banning all of Eddie Murphy's Old material, BK radio's OLD material is staying the same as it ever was.
